You can only update from Firmware versions 1.00, 1.01..1.04...1.08.  Previous firmware version(s) other than in the format mentioned here are probably OEMs and therefore cannot be updated with this file.  Contact  your PC manufacturer (FTS, DELL, HP....) if you require firmware updates for these drives.

You can verify your current installed firmware with  NERO InfoTool: http://www.nero.com
